Dora and Boots were walking happily down the forest path, listening to birds sing and watching butterflies dance in the warm light. Suddenly, the bushes shook, the ground rumbled, and three enormous dragons rose from behind the trees with glittering scales, sharp claws, and fiery eyes. "Boots, look! Dragons! We have to run right now because they have to look really scary and I do not want them to catch us!" Boots grabbed Dora's hand, and both of them raced down the path as fast as they could, their feet pounding against the dirt while the dragons roared behind them. Leaves flew into the air, branches swayed wildly, and the shadows of the dragons stretched over the ground like giant dark blankets. "I am scared, Dora! They are so big, and they are chasing us! We need to find someone who can help us before they breathe fire!"
Geo, a clever and brave helper from Umizoomi, looked up as Dora and Boots came hurrying into town, breathing hard and wide-eyed with fear. Their faces were pale, and they kept glancing back toward the forest as if the dragons might burst out at any second. "Geo Umizoomi, ghosts— I mean dragons chased us in the forest! They were huge and loud and scary, and we ran all the way here because we did not know what else to do!" Geo listened carefully, then placed his hands on his hips and thought for a moment while the fountain sparkled behind him in the golden light. He was not frightened for long, because he liked solving big problems with smart ideas. "Do not worry, Dora and Boots. If the dragons want to scare everyone, then we will use something even scarier to send them running away from here."
Geo quickly made a plan, and soon the plaza became a busy place full of spooky preparations. There were giant Frankenstein costumes with green faces and stiff arms, rattling chains, spooky masks, howling sound makers, and even some big friendly animals ready to help with the surprise. Boots blinked in amazement as monkeys, owls, and a shaggy bear joined the plan, all ready to make the dragons think they had found the scariest place in the world. "Wow, Geo, this is a really spooky plan! If I were a dragon, I would not want to see Frankensteins, creepy masks, and all these animals jumping out at me in the dark!" Dora nodded bravely, even though her heart was still beating fast from the chase. "Let us do it together. We were scared before, but now we can be brave and help scare the dragons away."
Dora, Boots, and Geo returned to the forest with their spooky surprise just as the dragons came stomping into the clearing. At once, the Frankensteins lurched out from behind the trees, animals howled and screeched, chains clanked, and strange shadows danced across the misty ground. The clearing looked so eerie and wild that even the dragons stopped in confusion, their glowing eyes growing wide. "Now, everyone, make it extra spooky! Let the dragons hear the chains, see the Frankensteins, and watch the animals leap from the shadows so they will think this forest is far too scary for them!" The owls swooped overhead, the bear gave a mighty roar, and the Frankenstein figures raised their arms as if they had come to life. The dragons trembled, backed away, and then turned around so quickly that their tails knocked through bushes and sent leaves spinning into the moonlit air.
The dragons ran for their lives, crashing through the forest and disappearing beyond the hills, too frightened to come back. Dora threw her hands into the air with a huge smile, while Boots bounced happily beside her and Geo grinned at their successful plan. "Yay! We did it! The dragons were scared by the Frankensteins, the scary things, and the animals, and now they are running away from us!" Boots laughed with relief, and the sound echoed softly through the quiet trees where fear had ruled only moments before. "I feel so much better now, Dora. First we were the ones running away, and now the dragons are the ones running for their lives!" Geo smiled proudly at both of them, happy that teamwork and courage had turned a frightening moment into a victory. O
When Dora got home, she hurried inside to tell her mom everything that had happened, from the first terrifying roar to the last dragon racing away into the dark. Her hands moved excitedly as she described the dragons, the run through the forest, and how Geo helped with Frankensteins, scary things, and animals. "Mom, today was so scary at first, but Geo Umizoomi helped us make a big spooky plan, and the dragons got scared and ran away!" Dora’s Mom, kind and calm, listened with wide eyes and then smiled proudly at her brave daughter. She could see that Dora had been frightened, but she had also learned how courage and friends could help chase fear away. "I am so proud of you, Dora. Even when you were scared, you found help, stayed brave, and worked together to make everyone safe again." Nick jr
