In the bustling city of Baghdad, a simple woodcutter named Ali Baba led a life of humble means. His days were spent in the forest, collecting firewood to sell at the market.

One day, as Ali Baba was chopping wood in the forest, he heard the sound of approaching horses. He quickly hid behind a tree and watched as forty thieves rode up to a nearby cave.

The leader of the thieves stepped forward and said, "Open Sesame!" The cave door magically opened, revealing a hidden treasure. Ali Baba watched in awe as the thieves carried out their stolen goods.

Once the thieves had left, Ali Baba approached the cave. He repeated the leader's words, "Open Sesame!" and the cave door opened for him. His eyes widened in disbelief at the sight of the vast treasure.

Ali Baba decided to take some of the treasure for himself. He loaded his donkey with as much gold and jewels as it could carry, then repeated the magic words to close the cave.

Returning home, Ali Baba showed the treasure to his wife. She was shocked and worried, but Ali Baba reassured her, explaining the source of his newfound wealth.

Ali Baba's newfound wealth quickly became the talk of the town. His extravagant lifestyle attracted attention, especially from his jealous brother, Kasim.

Consumed by curiosity, Kasim confronted Ali Baba. Under pressure, Ali Baba revealed the secret of the cave and the magic words. Overcome by greed, Kasim decided to visit the cave himself.

In his greed, Kasim took more treasure than he could carry and got trapped inside when he forgot the magic words. Later, the thieves found him and killed him, leaving his body in the cave.

When Kasim didn't return, Ali Baba grew worried and went to the cave. He was horrified to find his brother's body. With a heavy heart, he brought Kasim's body home to give him a proper burial.

The thieves soon discovered that their treasure had been disturbed once again. Furious, they vowed to find and kill the intruder who knew their secret. They began their search in the city.

One of the thieves, disguised as an oil merchant, came across Ali Baba's house. He marked the door with a chalk symbol to identify it for his companions.

Ali Baba's quick-thinking servant, Morgiana, noticed the mark and cleverly made identical marks on all the houses in the neighborhood to confuse the thieves.

When the thieves returned, they were baffled by the multiple marks. Their plan thwarted, they returned to their hideout while Ali Baba remained oblivious to the danger he was in.

The disguised thief tried another approach. He tricked Ali Baba into inviting him into his home, planning to kill him in his sleep. However, Morgiana saw through his disguise.

That night, Morgiana filled a jug with boiling oil and poured it into the jar where the thief was hiding, killing him instantly. She had saved Ali Baba from certain death.

When Ali Baba discovered what had happened, he was shocked but grateful. He thanked Morgiana for her bravery and quick thinking, promising to reward her for saving his life.

The leader of the thieves was furious when he learned of his men's failure. He decided to take matters into his own hands and went to the city in disguise, determined to kill Ali Baba himself.

Morgiana, ever vigilant, recognized the leader despite his disguise. She performed a dance for him during dinner and, in a swift move, stabbed him with a hidden dagger, killing him instantly.

With the death of their leader, the remaining thieves disbanded. The threat to Ali Baba was finally over. He thanked Morgiana again and rewarded her with her freedom and a portion of his treasure.

From then on, Ali Baba lived his life in peace. He continued to visit the cave, but only took what he needed. He shared his wealth with the poor, becoming a beloved figure in the city.

Ali Baba's story became a legend, a tale of adventure, greed, and the triumph of good over evil. His courage and Morgiana's quick thinking are still admired by many, teaching us the value of bravery, wit, and contentment.
