The sun was setting as the Green Ranger, Tommy, dragged the defeated Power Rangers to his base. He had always been the strongest amongst them, but none of them had foreseen this betrayal.

Inside his base, Tommy locked his former comrades in a cell. "You should have joined me when you had the chance," he sneered, his eyes glowing with a strange green light.

Kimberly, the Pink Ranger, was the first to wake up. She glanced around, her heart sinking as she took in the sight of her defeated team.

"We need to escape," she whispered to the unconscious Rangers. But as she tried to stand, a wave of dizziness hit her and she collapsed back to the floor.

Jason, the Red Ranger, opened his eyes. He felt weak and disoriented, but he knew they had to find a way out. "We can't let him win," he murmured.

They started to plan their escape. They were weak, without their powers, but they were not defeated. Not yet. They were the Power Rangers, after all.

Trini, the Yellow Ranger, noticed a loose panel in the cell. "Look," she pointed out, and they immediately began to work on it.

It took them hours, but finally they managed to pry it open. "Let's go," Jason said, leading them through the narrow tunnel.

They crept through the base, avoiding Tommy's minions. They knew they needed to find their power coins to stand a chance against him.

"I found them," Billy, the Blue Ranger, whispered, spotting the power coins in a glass case. "But it's guarded."

They devised a plan. Kimberly and Trini would distract the guards, while Jason and Billy would retrieve the power coins.

The plan went off without a hitch. They got their power coins back and transformed into their Ranger forms, ready to face Tommy.

"You should have stayed in your cell," Tommy said, his voice echoing through the chamber as they confronted him.

A fierce battle ensued. Tommy was strong, but the Power Rangers were united. They fought with everything they had, refusing to give up.

In the end, it was their unity that won the battle. With a final combined attack, they managed to defeat Tommy and reclaim their powers.

"You were our friend, Tommy," Kimberly said, looking at the defeated Green Ranger. "Why did you betray us?"

Tommy said nothing, his eyes no longer glowing with that strange green light. He looked defeated, and for the first time, they saw a hint of regret in his eyes.

They left him there, returning to their world. They had won, but the victory was bittersweet. They had lost a friend, but they had also found their strength.

From that day forward, they vowed to protect their world, no matter the cost. They were the Power Rangers, and they would stand united, always.

As for Tommy, he was left to contemplate his actions. He had been defeated, yes, but perhaps there was still a chance for redemption. Only time would tell.
