    Steve was born into a simple family in the United States. His parents, James and Helena, were happy to welcome their firstborn into the world. As a child, Steve showed an early interest in photography. His favorite pastime was clicking pictures of anything that caught his eye.

    When Steve finished his secondary education, his parents decided to send him to England for higher studies. He moved in with his Aunt May who was strict and believed in the importance of a good education.

    However, Steve's passion for photography didn't wane. He wanted to travel the world, capturing its beauty through his lens. But Aunt May was unsupportive of his dream, insisting that he focus on his studies instead.
