Lily and her parents walked into the pet shop. It was a new adventure for Lily, who had never seen so many animals in one place.

A friendly pet shop worker approached them and began showing them different pets. 'Let's count them,' he suggested.

'One, two, three,' Lily counted the rabbits. They were small and soft, with twitching noses.

They moved on to the hamsters. 'Four, five, six,' Lily continued her count. The hamsters were round and had whiskers.

'Seven, eight,' Lily counted the birds. They were colorful and chirping, making Lily giggle.

They saw two parrots next. 'Nine, ten,' Lily finished her count. The parrots were large and green, squawking at each other.

After saying goodbye to the pets, they left the shop. Lily was happy she learned to count up to ten and saw all the different pets.
