Arabella was a girl with a special gift. A magical light, warm and radiant, shone from her heart, casting a gleam on everything around her.

She used her unique light to fix things in her dad’s workshop, and to keep the dahlias blooming all year round. At night, she used it to read books about astronauts and explorers.

Arabella was excited to start school and share her extraordinary gift. But on the first day, the other children laughed at her light, making her feel terribly embarrassed.

Arabella lay awake all night, thinking about how to hide her light. The next day, she tried to conceal it with a large scarf and a woolly sweater, but it always managed to shine through.

Despite her attempts, Arabella’s light kept revealing itself, even in front of the principal. She felt ashamed and promised herself she would do better the next day.

Arabella worked tirelessly to craft an elaborate suit from her art supplies. She moved with great care, avoiding any activities that might expose her light.

Arabella’s plan seemed to work, but she felt miserable without her light. During a school field trip, a sudden thunderstorm caused the bus to stop, leaving everyone in the dark.

The driver asked if anyone had a light to help him navigate. No one responded, except for Arabella.

In a small, timid voice, Arabella offered to help. She bravely removed her art suit, allowing her light to shine bright and illuminate the road.

The dazzling display of light left her classmates in awe, and they never made fun of her again. Arabella realized that her light was not something to be ashamed of, but a gift to be shared.
