Once upon a time, in a lush green meadow, there lived a lazy cow named Bessie. Bessie was known throughout the farm for her laziness. While the other cows grazed and worked hard to produce milk, Bessie preferred to lie around in the sun all day, enjoying the warm rays on her back.

One day, the farmer noticed that Bessie was not contributing to the farm like the other cows. He tried to motivate her by offering her treats and rewards, but Bessie was simply too lazy to make an effort.

The farmer grew frustrated with Bessie's lack of work ethic and decided to sell her to another farm. Bessie didn't seem to mind the change. She just looked at the farmer with her big, brown eyes as if she didn't understand what was happening.

At her new home, Bessie continued her lazy ways. She would simply lay around all day, ignoring the other cows who were busily working. The new farmer, a stern man named Mr. Gray, noticed Bessie's laziness.

Mr. Gray decided to teach Bessie a lesson. He thought that if Bessie had to work for her food, she would understand the value of hard work. So, he stopped feeding her extra and left her to graze on the meadow like the other cows.

At first, Bessie didn't understand why she was not getting the extra food. She looked around, confused. But when her stomach started growling, she realized that she had to move around and graze if she wanted to eat.

The first few days were hard for Bessie. She was not used to moving around so much. Her legs hurt, her stomach growled, and she missed the comfort of lying around in the sun. But she had no choice.

Slowly, Bessie started to change. She began to wake up early in the morning, graze throughout the day, and produce milk like the other cows. Mr. Gray noticed this change and was pleased.

Mr. Gray was very proud of Bessie. He saw how much she had changed and how hard she was working. He realized that he had been wrong to judge her so quickly.
