It was a crisp, cool autumn day in the neighborhood. The trees displayed a beautiful array of orange, yellow, and red leaves. Caillou was excited. Today was Halloween, his favorite holiday. He loved the costumes, the jack-o-lanterns, and of course, the candy!

Caillou's mom had helped him make a superhero costume. He had a bright blue cape, a shiny mask, and a big, bold letter 'C' on his chest. Caillou felt like he could conquer anything in his costume.

As the sun began to set, Caillou and his friends set off to go trick or treating. Their laughter and excited chatter filled the evening air. They couldn't wait to see who would get the most candy.

As they walked from house to house, Caillou noticed that one house on the street was dark and quiet. It was the old Wilson house. The other kids whispered that it was haunted.

Caillou felt a shiver run down his spine, but he didn't want to seem scared in front of his friends. So, he bravely suggested that they should trick or treat at the Wilson house.

The group of kids hesitated, but seeing Caillou's confidence, they agreed. They slowly approached the old house, with its creaky gate and overgrown garden.

As they reached the front door, they heard a soft, eerie sound. It was like a whisper carried by the wind. Caillou gulped, but he knocked on the door anyway.

The door creaked open to reveal an elderly woman. Her name was Mrs. Wilson. She smiled warmly and handed out generous amounts of candy to the kids.

Mrs. Wilson told them she was glad for the company. She didn't get many visitors and loved seeing the kids' costumes. The kids felt relieved and thanked Mrs. Wilson for the candy.

After leaving the Wilson house, the kids felt brave. They laughed and joked about their earlier fear. The rest of the evening was filled with more laughter and lots of candy.

At the end of the night, Caillou and his friends counted their candy. They all agreed it was the best Halloween ever. They had faced their fear and had a great adventure.

When Caillou got home, he told his parents about his adventure. They were proud of him for being so brave. As he climbed into bed, he was already excited for the next Halloween.

That night, Caillou dreamt of more Halloween adventures. He dreamt of haunted houses, friendly ghosts, and mountains of candy. It was indeed a big Halloween for Caillou.

As the sun rose the next morning, Caillou woke up with a smile on his face. He couldn't wait to tell his friends at school about his dream. After all, every day was an adventure for Caillou.
