In the meadow lived a capybara, known for his friendly nature and wise counsel. He was loved by all the animals in the meadow.

One day, Rabbit and Squirrel, the capybara's good friends, came to him with a problem. They couldn't decide who had the right to a certain tree.

Rabbit claimed the tree because it gave shade where he could rest, while Squirrel claimed it as it provided him with fruits.

Capybara listened to their arguments patiently. He understood their dilemma and promised to find a solution.

The next day, all the animals gathered under the tree, with the capybara on one side, and Rabbit and Squirrel on the other.

Capybara, after a moment's silence, said, 'I have made my decision. But before that, let's have a race from the stream to this tree.'

Rabbit and Squirrel stood at the starting line, ready to race. Both were confident of their speed and agility.

At Capybara's signal, they took off. The animals watched in suspense as Rabbit and Squirrel leaped and dashed towards the tree.

They reached the tree at the same time. The animals clapped and cheered. Neither Rabbit nor Squirrel could claim victory.

Capybara then announced, 'The tree belongs to both of you. You can share it and live in harmony.'

Rabbit and Squirrel understood. They thanked Capybara for his wisdom. From that day, they shared the tree, living in peace.

Capybara smiled, content that he could help his friends. The meadow remained a place of peace and harmony, thanks to the wise Capybara.
