Little Rabbit and Little Pig were hopping and trotting along a forest trail. They had an important mission today - to visit Dr. Owl.

Reaching Dr. Owl's tree, Little Rabbit called out, 'Dr. Owl, we're here!' Dr. Owl, who was reading a book, looked down and asked, 'What seems to be the problem?'

'Little Pig has been having trouble seeing clearly recently. We want to know what causes myopia?' said Little Rabbit. 'Oh, so Little Pig has myopia!' replied Dr. Owl.

Dr. Owl explained, 'Myopia is when the axial length of our eyes becomes longer. It's a condition!' Little Pig was confused, 'What does it mean that the axial length becomes longer?'

Dr. Owl picked up a balloon and asked, 'Our eyes are like this balloon. What happens if we keep blowing air into it?' 'The balloon gets bigger!' Little Rabbit chirped.

'The balloon will burst!' exclaimed Little Pig. 'Exactly! Our eyes are just like a balloon. If we don't take good care of them, they can lead to retinal detachment, like a balloon bursting!'

'Wow... that sounds scary!' said Little Pig. Little Rabbit asked, 'So, why do we get myopia?' Dr. Owl replied, 'Staring at screens for too long can cause myopia.'

The friends looked at each other, understanding dawning in their eyes. 'Thank you, Dr. Owl! We understand now! We'll reduce our screen time!' they chorused.

Dr. Owl smiled, pleased to see them learning. 'That's good to hear. Remember, your eyes are precious. You must take good care of them.'

Little Rabbit and Little Pig nodded, promising to look after their eyes. They thanked Dr. Owl again for his help and set off on their way back home.

Little Rabbit began spending less time on his tablet, opting to play outside instead. Little Pig, too, started taking breaks from watching his favorite shows.

Their little adventure with Dr. Owl had taught them a valuable lesson about eye care. They knew they had to protect their eyes to continue enjoying the beautiful world around them.
