One day, I and my mother decided to spend the day at the beach. The sun was shining, the waves were gentle, and the sand was warm. It was a perfect day for a beach outing.

As we arrived at the beach, we observed the expansive body of water, the rhythm of the waves, and the countless grains of sand beneath our feet. We decided to do something different that day.

We began to draw in the sand. Using our fingers as brushes and the sand as our canvas, we let our imaginations run wild.

We drew a house with a pointed roof and a small chimney. It was a simple design, yet it seemed perfect against the backdrop of the shimmering sea.

Next, we drew a heart. We filled in the shape until it was dark and prominent against the light sand. It symbolized our love and the bond we shared.

We then drew a tree with many branches extending outwards. The branches swirled and twisted, creating an intricate and captivating design.

Mother wrote her name next to the tree and I followed suit, writing my name next to hers. Our names side by side added an indelible personal touch to our sand drawings.

People walking by couldn’t help but notice our drawings. They would stop, smile, admire our work, and continue on their way. It was a small interaction that added a lot of joy to our day.

Inspired by their reactions, we decided to draw more. This time, we drew a bird soaring in the sky, signifying freedom and the joy of exploring.

We then drew the vast, azure sky above us. With fluffy clouds flitting across, it was like our little piece of heaven on the beach.

Then came the turn of an airplane, soaring high above the clouds. It was followed by a rocket and a helicopter. The beach turned into an aviation museum.

We spent the entire afternoon drawing. The sun moved across the sky, casting long shadows on our sand creations. But we were too engrossed to notice.

As the afternoon turned into early evening, I turned to my mother and asked her, "Why don't people do this? It's so much fun to draw in the sand!"

She smiled at me and replied, "Sometimes, people forget how to be children. They forget how to let their imaginations run wild. But that doesn't mean we can't remind them."

As we continued to draw, the sun began to set. The sky was painted with hues of orange and pink. It was a captivating sight to behold.

Suddenly, a big wave rushed to the shore, engulfing our drawings. The sand art we spent the whole afternoon creating was washed away in seconds.

For a moment, we just stood there, watching our artwork disappear. But then we looked at each other and broke out into laughter. The wave had cleansed our canvas for new creations.

As twilight fell, we left the beach with a sense of satisfaction. We didn't leave any physical trace behind, but we knew that the memories we made would last forever.

That night, as I lay in bed, I reflected on our day at the beach. I realized that the beauty of creating isn't just in the final product, but in the process itself.

The next morning, we woke up to a beautiful day. I looked at my mother and asked if we could go to the beach again. She smiled and nodded. We had a brand new canvas to work on.

We went to the beach, carrying the same excitement and anticipation as we did the previous day. I could hardly wait to start drawing again.

The day unfolded similarly. We started with a house, followed by a heart, a tree, our names, and then a series of other drawings. The beach once again turned into our canvas.

We received the same appreciative glances from passers-by. Their smiles proved that our sand art was not just a source of enjoyment for us, but for others as well.

As the sun began to set, we watched as the wave erased our day's work again. But this time, we were expecting it. We saw it as a part of the process.

Once again, we left the beach with a sense of contentment. The waves had swept away our drawings, but they couldn’t wash away the joy we had experienced in creating them.

Back home, I fell asleep with the sound of the waves still in my ears and the memory of the day's adventure fresh in my mind. I was looking forward to another day of beach and sand art.

Each day was a new beginning, a new canvas to fill with our creativity. The beach, with its endless sand, gave us a sense of infinite possibilities.

The following days replicated the first two, filled with anticipation, laughter, creativity, and the inevitable wave. But we were prepared and embraced it all with joy.

Our beach adventures taught us that the joy of creating is in the process and not just the end result. Each wave was a reminder to cherish the moments and not just the masterpiece.

So, every day, we would return, sometimes drawing the same things, sometimes creating new things, every day creating memories. Every day, the same beach, the same sand, the same waves, yet each day felt unique.

Our sand drawing adventures turned into a beautiful tradition, a testament to our indomitable spirit of creativity. It was a simple activity, but it brought us immense joy and wonderful memories.

And that's the beauty of drawing in the sand. It teaches us to enjoy the moment, to appreciate the process, and to value the impermanence of things. Because in the end, it's not about what the waves take away, but what they leave behind.

So, every day, we continue to draw in the sand, knowing that the waves will wash it away, but also knowing that tomorrow, we will have a fresh canvas to start all over again. Because the joy is not just in the creation, but also in the recreation.

And that's our little happy story of drawing in the sand. The story of a mother and a child, their love for each other, and their shared love for creativity and the simple joy of drawing in the sand.

So, the next time you visit a beach, don't forget to draw something in the sand. It might get washed away by the waves, but the memories you create will stay with you forever.
