In a lively corner of Barcelona, nestled among the cobbled streets, stood a hostel that buzzed with the melodies of languages from around the world

Among the chatter of travelers, a bright-eyed little girl named Sofia stood captivated by the most extraordinary parrot she had ever seen

His feathers shimmered in a myriad of colors, and his eyes sparkled with a curious intelligence Sofia approached with wonder, her voice filled with excitement

"Parrot, what’s your name?" Echo, the parrot, tilted his head, a mischievous glint in his eye "My name is Echo," he replied, his words clear and confident, surprising Sofia.

Sofia giggled, enchanted by Echo's eloquence Her curiosity was insatiable

"And where are you from?" she asked, her eyes wide "I’m American," Echo replied with a playful nod

Sofia clapped her hands in delight, eager to learn more about this remarkable bird

"What do you like to do?" "Oh, I love learning languages," he said, his voice carrying the enthusiasm of a thousand adventures.

Sofia leaned in, her voice a whisper filled with awe

"Do you speak Spanish?" "Yes," Echo replied with a flourish, "And I also speak French, English, Italian, and Portuguese." Sofia gasped, her eyes sparkling with admiration "Incredible

Why do you learn so many languages?" "I learn languages because I want to travel the world and understand the locals

I want to live immersed in each country's culture," Echo explained, his voice carrying the dream of countless journeys.

Sofia felt a kinship with Echo, her own dreams of exploration igniting within her "And where do you live?" she inquired, her curiosity insatiable

"Ah, that’s my big secret to speaking so many languages," Echo confessed with a wink "Little girl, I live in a very busy hostel

Tourists from all over the world come, each with their different accents and languages It’s fascinating." "What do you do there?" she asked, leaning in closer

"I immerse myself in the rhythms, in the melody of each language," he said, his voice a gentle lullaby

"Even though I don’t understand much at first, I let myself go, enjoying those sounds that transport me to new worlds."

Sofia was enchanted by Echo's tales of linguistic adventures "How do you manage to speak so many languages?" she asked, her voice filled with wonder

"Very easily," Echo replied, "I enthusiastically repeat the sounds

When a French tourist arrives, he says 'Bonjour!' and I repeat 'Bonjour!' He asks me 'Ça va?' and I repeat 'Ça va!' Then he says 'Très bien!' and I repeat 'Très bien!' Later, a Spanish tourist arrives saying '¡Hola!' and I repeat '¡Hola!' Amused by my response, he asks, '¿Cómo estás?' and I repeat '¿Cómo estás?' And he, laughing, says '¡Muy bien

¿Y tú?' and I repeat '¡Muy bien!'" "And that’s how I learn, little girl," Echo beamed "I enjoy using language to communicate, to express myself

Simply… I speak." Sofia felt her heart swell with the possibilities of her own adventures, inspired by the parrot who spoke the languages of the world.
