Ellie was a curious 5 year old little girl with curly brown hair. She loved playing with her younger sister and helping her mom around the house. Every morning, she would wake up and look forward to spending the day with her family.

On this day, when Ellie arrived at breakfast, her mom gave her some terrible news. She was going to start kindergarten soon. Ellie's face fell, and she felt a knot in her stomach. She didn't want to leave her home and her family.

Ellie thought that going to kindergarten meant her mom didn't love her anymore. She was scared and couldn't understand why she had to go. She missed her mom and little sister already.

Seeing Ellie's sadness, her mom knelt down and held her hands. She reassured Ellie that she would always love her and that kindergarten was a wonderful place.

Ellie’s mom assured her that she would meet lots of new friends in kindergarten. She would learn how to read and write and play fun games. Ellie started to feel a little less scared but was still unsure.

The night before her first day of kindergarten, Ellie lay in her bed, staring at the ceiling. She was nervous about the new adventure, but she also remembered what her mom had told her.

The next morning, Ellie’s mom helped Ellie get ready for school. Ellie wore her new dress and carried her little backpack. She looked at her mom, and they shared a reassuring smile.

When Ellie and her mom arrived at the school, Ellie felt her heart beating fast. She held onto her mom's hand tightly as they walked to her classroom.

Ellie's new teacher was kind and welcoming. She showed Ellie her desk and introduced her to the class. Ellie felt a bit better seeing all the friendly faces.

Throughout the day, Ellie participated in various activities. She colored pictures, learned new songs, and even made a new friend. Her name was Lily, and they played together during recess.

When Ellie's mom picked her up from school, Ellie ran to her with a big smile on her face. She told her mom about her day, about Lily, and about all the fun things she had learned.

Ellie's mom was delighted to see her daughter's happiness. She knew then that Ellie would be okay. That night, they celebrated Ellie's first day of kindergarten with a special dinner.

Ellie started looking forward to school each day. She loved learning new things, making friends, and sharing her day with her family. She realized that kindergarten was not as scary as she had thought.

Ellie's mom was always there to support her. She listened to Ellie's stories, helped her with her homework, and reassured her when she was worried. Their bond only grew stronger.

Ellie learned that trying new things could be scary, but it could also be exciting and fun. She learned to trust her mom and believe in herself. She also knew she was very loved and cared for.
