In a forest so cozy, where the night softly fell, Milo the mouse had a story to tell With whiskers a-twitch and his eyes shining bright, He scampered along, wishing all a good night.

Through the tall grass, by the old hollow tree, Benny the bear was as sleepy as can be "Goodnight, dear Benny, with your fur so fair," "Goodnight, Milo," said he, with a soft, comfy air.

Up in the branches, where the moonlight did peek, Luna the owl blinked, looking wise and unique "Goodnight, wise Luna, in your tree so tall," "Goodnight, little Milo," she softly did call.

Down by the burrow, where the shadows did play, Freddie the fox was winding down his day

"Goodnight, sly Freddie, in your den tight and snug," "Goodnight, Milo," he yawned, with a content little shrug.

By the cool river, where the waters did gleam, Ellie the elephant sipped from the stream "Goodnight, sweet Ellie, with your trunk so grand," "Goodnight, dear Milo," she waved with her hand.

As Milo continued through the forest so deep, Each friend tucked in for a night full of sleep

"Goodnight to the forest, with the stars shining bright," And Milo the mouse whispered, "Goodnight and sleep tight."
