Ava's dad stood in her bedroom doorway, holding a cup of juice out to her. "Here you go, princess," he said with a warm smile, then left the room.

Ava looked down at the juice, then up at the door where her dad had just exited. "Why does he call me princess?" she wondered aloud.

Her stuffed bear, Mr. Cuddles, perked up. "Maybe it's because you're his little girl," he suggested.

"But all little girls are princesses?" Ava questioned, not entirely convinced.

Her stuffed rabbit, Bella, chimed in. "Maybe it's because you're special to him," Bella speculated.

Ava looked thoughtful. "But I think all daughters are special to their dads," she replied.

Her stuffed lion, Leo, grumbled a bit. "Maybe it's because you're brave and strong, like a princess," Leo suggested.

Ava pondered Leo's suggestion, but still, she wasn't convinced. "I don't think that's it either," she said, scratching her head.

Her dad's voice floated up from downstairs. "Because your mother is a queen, princess," he called.

Ava's eyes widened. "My mom is a queen?" she exclaimed in surprise.

"Of course," Her dad replied from downstairs. "Every king needs a queen, and every queen has a princess."

Ava sat in silence for a moment, soaking in the revelation. She looked around at her stuffed animals. "Did you know that?" she asked them.

All her stuffed animals shook their heads. "We didn't know," they admitted.

"Well, now we all know," Ava said with a sigh of relief. She picked up her juice and took a sip.

With newfound knowledge, Ava saw herself differently. She felt unique and special, knowing she was a princess because her mother was a queen.

She looked up at the ceiling and closed her eyes. In her imagination, she saw her mother dressed in beautiful Egyptian royalty clothes.

Her mom sat on a throne, her head held high with dignity and grace. She looked every bit a queen, and Ava felt a surge of pride.

Ava opened her eyes and looked around her room. Suddenly, it didn't feel like an ordinary room - it felt like a royal chamber.

Ava smiled and, with newfound confidence, she decided to act like a princess. She sat up straight, held her head high and sipped her juice elegantly.

"From now on," Ava announced to her stuffed animals, "We will all behave like royal subjects in this castle!"

Her stuffed animals all nodded in agreement. They liked the idea of being royal subjects in Princess Ava's castle.

"And I," Ava declared, "will be the best princess ever, just like my mom is the best queen."

With that, Ava spent her day playing princess with her stuffed animals, happy in her newfound royal identity.

As the day grew to a close, her dad entered her room once again. "Goodnight, princess," he said, tucking her into bed.

Ava smiled up at him, her eyes shining with joy. "Goodnight, dad," she said. She now knew why he called her princess, and it made her feel special.

And so, Princess Ava drifted off to sleep, dreaming of royal adventures she would have the next day with her loyal stuffed animal subjects.
