Jackson was playing fetch with Daisy in their backyard. Daisy was always enthusiastic when it came to playing with her favorite squeaky toy.

Suddenly, Daisy's toy disappeared. Jackson searched everywhere but he couldn't find it. Daisy started whimpering, looking sad without her toy.

Jackson decided to look inside the house. He searched under the couch, behind the curtains, and even in his toy box.

Daisy followed Jackson around the house, her tail drooping. Her sad eyes made Jackson more determined to find the toy.

Next, Jackson looked in his bedroom. He checked under his bed, in his cupboard, and even inside his school bag.

Daisy sat by the door, watching Jackson. Her sad whimper echoed in the room. Despite the unsuccessful search, Jackson didn't lose hope.

Jackson thought of the last place they hadn't checked - under the oak tree. He rummaged through the fallen leaves and twigs.

Daisy came running, her ears perked up. She sniffed around and started digging. Suddenly, she barked in joy.

Jackson cleared the leaves and saw a small hole. He reached in and felt something familiar.

Pulling it out, Jackson held up Daisy's squeaky toy. Daisy jumped around excitedly, barking in delight.

Jackson threw the toy and Daisy chased after it, her tail wagging furiously. The backyard was filled with her happy barks.

The boy and his dog played until the sun set. Daisy was happy again, and that made Jackson happy too.
