Little Jhad was looking forward to Picture Day at school. It was the one day every year where he could show off his style and personality. He had been preparing for it for weeks and was very excited.

He had chosen his outfit carefully, a bright red shirt with his favorite superhero on it and a pair of black jeans. His mother had praised him for his responsible behavior.

The only thing left was his hair. He decided to give himself a slight touch up. He took a pair of scissors from his mother's sewing kit and stood in front of the mirror.

He carefully started to trim, but in the middle of his work, he heard a loud "bang" sound. Startled, his hand slipped and he cut a big chunk of his hair.

Jhad stared at the mirror, shocked. His perfect hair was ruined. He felt a lump in his throat as he realized what he had done. He was inconsolable.
