Once upon a time, in a small village nestled amidst lush green fields and beautiful flowers, lived a sweet little girl known as Little Red Riding Hood. She was called so because of the red hooded cloak she always wore.

Little Red Riding Hood lived with her mother and spent her days playing in the fields and helping her mother with chores. However, her favourite person in the world was her grandmother.

Her grandmother lived alone in a small house in the heart of the forest. She loved her granddaughter dearly and would always wait for her visits eagerly.

One sunny day, Little Red Riding Hood's mother asked her to take a basket of goodies to her grandmother. Little Red Riding Hood was excited about the visit and set off on her journey.

Along the way, she was so engrossed in the beauty of the forest that she didn't notice a pair of crafty eyes watching her from the shadows. It was a cunning wolf.

The wolf approached Little Red Riding Hood with a friendly demeanor, trying to find out where she was going. She, being too innocent, revealed her destination.

The wolf made a wicked plan. He suggested a race to see who could reach Grandma's house first, and then ran off in a different direction.

Little Red Riding Hood didn't suspect anything and continued on her path, picking wildflowers for her grandmother. Meanwhile, the wolf took a shortcut to Grandma's house.

When the wolf reached Grandma's house, he tricked her into opening the door and gobbled her up. Then, he dressed up in Grandma's clothes and waited for Little Red Riding Hood.

Little Red Riding Hood arrived at the house and noticed that her grandmother looked different. The wolf, pretending to be her grandmother, invited her in.

She went near the bed and noticed her grandmother's big eyes, big ears, and big teeth. Just as the wolf was about to eat her, a woodsman passing by heard the commotion.

The woodsman rushed in and with a swift move of his axe, he rescued Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother from the wolf's belly. The wolf ran away, never to be seen again.

Little Red Riding Hood thanked the woodsman and promised to never talk to strangers again. She hugged her grandmother and they both shared a hearty meal with the woodsman.

From that day onwards, Little Red Riding Hood always remembered her promise and never strayed from the path when she visited her grandmother. Her adventure became a popular tale in the village.

And so, even today, children are told the tale of Little Red Riding Hood, reminding them to always listen to their elders and not talk to strangers, no matter how friendly they seem.
