In the woods, a little bunny and a big bunny were having a playful argument. 'Guess how much I love you,' said Little Bunny, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

'Oh, I can't guess,' replied Big Bunny, a twinkle in his wise eyes. Little Bunny stretched out his arms as wide as he could. 'I love you this much,' he said.

Big Bunny's arms were much longer. He stretched them out, 'I love you this much,' he said. Little Bunny thought, 'That's a lot of love.'

'The higher I can reach, the more I love you,' said Little Bunny. 'The higher I can reach, the more I love you,' echoed Big Bunny. Little Bunny wished his arms were that long.

Little Bunny had another brilliant idea. He stood upside down, his feet against a tree trunk. 'I love you all the way to my toes,' he declared.

Big Bunny tossed Little Bunny up into the air, higher than his head. 'I love you all the way to your toes,' he said. Little Bunny giggled with joy.

'The higher I jump, the more I love you!' Little Bunny said as he hopped up and down. Big Bunny also started hopping, his ears brushing against the tree branches.

Little Bunny was in awe. 'If only I could jump that high,' he thought. 'I love you as far as this little path goes to the river,' he called out.

'I love you as far as over the river and beyond the hills,' replied Big Bunny. Little Bunny thought, 'That's really far.'

He was getting sleepy and couldn't think of anything farther. He looked at the night sky over the bushes. 'I love you all the way to the moon,' he said before closing his eyes.

'Oh, that's really far,' said Big Bunny, 'Very, very far.' He gently placed Little Bunny on a bed of leaves. He bent down and kissed him goodnight.

Then he lay down beside Little Bunny, smiling softly in the moonlight. 'I love you all the way to the moon and back,' he whispered.
