Every evening, Rina, Budi, and their parents would gather around the dinner table. Their mother would often teach them proper table manners.

One day, their mother started the meal by reminding, 'Children, let's remember our table manners. First, we should sit upright. It's good for digestion and is polite.'

Rina and Budi immediately straightened up. Rina curiously asked, 'What else, Mom?' 'Second, we should wait for everyone to be seated before we start eating,' their mother explained.

Budi, who was usually quick to start eating, held back and waited for their father, who was still fetching water from the kitchen. When their father sat, they all prayed together before starting their meal.

'Third,' their mother continued, 'eat calmly and don't speak while eating.' Rina and Budi nodded, focusing on their meals and trying their best to follow their mother's instructions.

Every evening thereafter, Rina and Budi would remember their mother's words and practice the table manners. They would sit upright, wait for everyone to be ready, and eat their meals without speaking.

One day, their mother baked a delicious cake for dessert. Rina and Budi loved cake and it was hard for them to resist the temptation to grab a piece.

However, they remembered their mother's words. They waited for their parents to serve themselves first before they took a piece. Their mother smiled proudly, pleased that her children were learning to be patient.

'You both did well today,' their mother praised them. 'Good manners are a sign of respect and patience. Keep it up!' Rina and Budi beamed with happiness, proud of their achievement.

Their father also commended them, 'You both have made us proud. Good manners will take you far in life.' Rina and Budi promised to continue practicing good manners, not just at the dinner table, but in all aspects of life.

From that day forward, Rina and Budi became more aware of their manners, not only during meal times but also in their daily activities. Their mother's teachings had a lasting impact on them.

With time, Rina and Budi's manners improved significantly. They learned that patience and respect were just as important as the food they ate. And so, every meal became a lesson in life for the two siblings.
