Billy was playing in the garden, his eyes filled with imagination and excitement. He loved to pretend he was a superhero, just like his dad.

His dad, a firefighter, was his real-life superhero. He would listen with awe to his dad's stories about saving people and fighting fires.

One evening, while sitting on the couch, Billy asked his dad, 'Are you a superhero?' His dad, surprised, chuckled and asked, 'Why do you ask, Billy?'

'Because you save people, just like superheroes do!', Billy exclaimed. His dad smiled and hugged him, 'Well, if that makes me a superhero, then yes, I am.'

The next day, Billy told his teacher, Mrs. Roberts, about his dad being a superhero. She looked at him with a smile, 'That's wonderful, Billy.'

'Can I bring him to school to show everyone my superhero dad?' Billy asked. Mrs. Roberts nodded, 'Sure, Billy. That would be lovely.'

The next week, Billy's dad came to school. The children listened in awe as he talked about his job, about helping others, and about bravery.

Billy sat proudly in the front row, his chest puffed up. When his dad finished speaking, he ran up to him and hugged him tightly, 'My superhero dad!'

That evening, while they were playing catch in the garden, Billy asked his dad, 'Can I be a superhero like you when I grow up?'

'Of course, Billy. Anyone can be a superhero. You just have to be brave, kind, and always ready to help others.' his dad replied, ruffling his hair.

That night, as his dad tucked him into bed, Billy looked up at him with sparkling eyes, 'Dad, you are the best superhero ever.'

His dad kissed his forehead, 'And you, Billy, are my little superhero.' With that, he turned off the light and left the room, leaving Billy dreaming of superheroes.
