Benny the bear laughed with joy, 'That was a great hiding spot, Ellie! You’re the best at this game.' Ellie the Elephant, giving Benny a gentle hug, replied, 'Thanks, Benny! I love playing with you all. You make the game so much fun!'

Benny smiled at Ricky, 'Hi! I’m Benny. Want to join us for the next round?' Ricky the Raccoon was excited, 'Yes, that’d be awesome! Let’s play tag!' While playing, Ricky suddenly tickled Benny, trying to be playful. Benny, feeling uncomfortable, stepped away quietly and the game paused.

Benny, a bit unsure, asked Lucy, 'Can I talk to you? Ricky tickled me, and it felt weird. I didn’t like it much.' Lucy listened intently, 'It’s important to know what makes you comfortable, Benny. If something doesn't feel right, it's okay to say so. We all have different feelings about touch.'

Benny nervously told Ricky, 'When you tickled me, I felt uncomfortable. I like playing with you, but could we not do tickling?' Ricky was surprised but attentive, 'Oh! I’m sorry, Benny. I didn’t know. I’ll remember to ask next time!' Lucy encouraged them, 'It's great that you both could talk about this. Asking first shows we care about each other's feelings.'

Mr. Owl wisely addressed the gathering, 'Thank you, Benny and Ricky, for sharing today. It's important for all of us in Safe Space Woods to respect each other’s space and comfort.' The animals nodded, understanding the value of consent and communication more clearly.

With open hearts and mindful manners, the friends of Safe Space Woods played joyously, knowing they could speak up about their feelings and respect each other’s boundaries. Benny felt more empowered, knowing he could always talk to his friends and trusted adults about his feelings.
