Serena was fifth in line, her hands were clammy, and she could feel her heart beating like a drum in her chest.

Miss Teacher, their class teacher, warned them of the consequences if they refused to participate in the health check-up. Serena's fear multiplied.

As the first girl exited the room, her face was crimson. The machine was used to detect any health issues through their farts. It was Serena's worst nightmare.

Serena was now terrified. She felt like running away but knew there was no escape. She closed her eyes, trying to gather her courage.

Serena took deep breaths to calm herself. She remembered her mother's words about facing fears bravely. It gave her a little courage.

Miss Teacher noticed Serena's discomfort and took her aside. She explained to her the importance of health check-ups and encouraged her to be brave.

Serena was next. The doctor smiled at her kindly, trying to put her at ease. It did little to calm her nerves.

As Serena entered the room, she felt her heart pounding. She kept her eyes closed, remembering her mother's words and Miss Teacher's encouragement.

The doctor placed the machine near her. Serena took a deep breath and let it out. The machine beeped, the examination was done.

Serena's face turned red, but she felt a sense of relief. She had faced her fear. She had been brave. She was proud of herself.

Miss Teacher smiled at Serena, proud of her bravery. Serena felt a sense of accomplishment. She had faced her fear and come out stronger.

From that day on, Serena learned that facing fears wasn't as scary as it seemed. She realized that bravery wasn't about not being scared, it was about facing it anyway.
