Emily, the little blonde toddler, was in her playpen, her big blue eyes full of curiosity as she played with her toys. Her infectious laughter filled the room, creating a cheerful atmosphere.

Emily's sister walked into the room, fresh from reform school. She looked at Emily, her nose wrinkling at the smell of a dirty diaper. She sighed, knowing what her punishment was.

With Emily in her arms, the sister walked into the bathroom. She placed Emily on the changing table, taking a deep breath as she prepared herself for the task ahead.

The diaper changing was a disaster. Emily wriggled and giggled as her sister struggled with the task. Finally, with a clean diaper in place, she let out a sigh of relief.

Emily's sister sat on the couch, exhausted but relieved. She watched Emily play, her heart softening despite the earlier ordeal. She realized she had missed this, missed her sister.

The next few days were filled with more diaper changes, feeding times, and playtime. Emily's sister found herself growing more accustomed to the routine, even enjoying it a little.

One morning, Emily's sister made breakfast while Emily sat in her high chair, clapping her hands in excitement. Seeing Emily so happy brought a small smile to her face.

Despite the initial resentment, Emily's sister found herself growing fond of her little sister. She realized how much she had missed while at reform school, how much she had missed Emily.

They spent afternoons in the backyard, playing and laughing. Emily's sister taught her how to play catch, Emily's laughter ringing out every time she missed. A bond was slowly forming between them.

Emily's sister realized that her punishment wasn't a punishment after all. It was a chance to reconnect with her sister, a chance to be a part of Emily's life.

At night, Emily's sister would read stories to Emily before bedtime. Emily would listen intently, her eyes wide with wonder. It was a peaceful end to their day.

Emily's sister, once resentful, had learned to appreciate the time she got to spend with her sister. She learned that family was important, that love was important. And she was grateful for it.
