Once upon a time, in a bustling village lived a cheerful young boy named Eli. Eli was full of life, always surrounded by his friends.

But Eli had a problem that scared his friends. When he was upset, his anger got the better of him. His loud outbursts frightened everyone.

His tantrums pushed his friends away, and he'd end up alone. Eli didn’t understand why this happened. He just wanted his friends beside him.

One day, an elderly gentleman named Oliver noticed Eli alone. He sensed Eli’s sadness and decided to reach out to the boy.

Oliver asked Eli, "Why are you always alone, dear Eli?" Eli sighed and explained how his anger scared his friends away.

Oliver listened and offered to teach Eli to manage his anger. Eli eagerly agreed to Oliver's offer to help.

So, Oliver began teaching Eli to identify when he was getting angry, and how it felt in his body.

Eli began to recognize the signs of his emerging anger: his heartbeat would quicken and warmth would spread within him.

Oliver instructed Eli to take deep breaths whenever he felt angry. Eli found that this helped him calm down considerably.

Oliver also suggested counting slowly from one to ten to cool down. Eli found this technique quite effective.

Eli also learned to think of happy moments when anger surged within him. Recalling fun times with friends made him smile.

Lastly, Oliver told Eli to share his feelings with someone he trusted. Eli shared his feelings with Oliver which lightened his mood.

His friends saw the change in him. They returned to play with Eli, who was overjoyed at having his friends back.

Eli thanked Oliver for his help, who reminded Eli that handling our anger is what truly matters.

Now, when Eli feels anger stirring, he uses the tools taught by Oliver. This way, Eli is no longer controlled by his anger, but instead, he controls it.

Eli’s story spread across the village, encouraging others to manage their anger, too. With Eli never alone, the village was much happier.

Eli learned to keep his temper under control, and soon, he grew up to be a compassionate young man, respected by everyone.

Thus, Eli's story taught everyone the importance of managing one's anger. It demonstrated the power of friendship and understanding.

So remember, it's okay to feel angry sometimes. But managing this emotion in a way that doesn't hurt anyone is crucial.

In the end, remember, we all have an 'Oliver' in our lives. Someone who helps us navigate our emotions and guides us towards our best self. Let's cherish them.

The story of Eli is a reminder that we can all change. So when you feel anger trying to take over, remember Eli and his techniques.
