In this lively town, there was a boy known as the 'Bad Boy'. He was always seen with a hat on his head and a fat bat in his hand.

The bat he carried around was unusually fat and always looked sad. Even when the Bad Boy played with it, there was a deep sorrow in its eyes.

One sunny day, the Bad Boy was asked to play in a baseball game. He agreed and brought his sad bat to the field.

"Why does your bat always look so sad?" one of the boys asked. The Bad Boy shrugged, "I don't know," he replied.

The game began and the Bad Boy played well. But every time he hit the ball, his bat would look even sadder.

Suddenly, during the game, the bat started to cry. The Bad Boy looked at it and felt a pang of sadness. He didn't want his bat to be sad anymore.

He took his bat to a quiet corner and asked, "Why are you sad, Bat? I don't want you to be sad." The bat didn't reply but kept crying.

The Bad Boy thought hard and then it hit him. His bat was sad because it was fat. It felt left out amongst all the other slim bats.

The Bad Boy returned to the game. He held his bat high and declared, "My bat may be fat, but that doesn't make it any less than the others!"

He then hit the next pitch with all his might. The ball flew high and far, winning the game for his team. Everyone cheered.

After the game, everyone celebrated the Bad Boy and his bat. They now understood that being different wasn't bad. It was unique and special.
