Silly, a crocodile, lived happily in the jungle, munching on his favorite snacks. One day, his appetite led him to a hidden mango grove.

Silly was delighted and forgot about moderation. He devoured mango after mango until his belly was full and a satisfied smile spread across his face.

Silly became the largest crocodile in the entire jungle. His once-slim tail now swished like a fallen tree trunk, and his teeth could snap a coconut in half.

Silly's friend, Tessa the toucan, saw him and was shocked. 'Silly,' she squawked, 'you’re enormous! What happened?' Silly explained his mango feast.

'Balance, my scaly friend,' Tessa said. 'Life is like a seesaw. Too much of one thing tips the balance.' Silly decided to seek help from Grandpa Terrapin.

Grandpa Terrapin listened to Silly's problem and said, 'You’ve learned the hard way. Moderation is the key to harmony. Too many mangoes upset the cosmic balance.'

Silly followed Grandpa Terrapin's advice. He ate mindfully, chewed slowly, savored each bite and remembered that friendship is the sweetest fruit of all.

As days passed, Silly gradually shrank. His scales tightened, his tail regained its agility, and he was no longer the giant, clumsy crocodile.

'Join me!' Tessa chirped. Silly balanced himself on the seesaw, teetering between adventure and rest.

Silly smiled at Tessa. 'Thank you, my feathered friend. I’ve learned that even a giant crocodile can find balance,' he said.

Silly still enjoyed mangoes, but now he knew the importance of moderation. He was no longer a giant, clumsy crocodile, but a balanced, mindful one.

So, Silly continued to live happily in the jungle, enjoying his favorite snacks, but never forgetting the valuable lesson he had learned about balance and moderation.
