Once upon a time, in a dense jungle lived a cunning fox. Always on the lookout for new ways to catch smaller animals, the fox was known for its sly tricks.

In the same jungle, there lived a small, quick rabbit. Known for his wit and speed, the rabbit was loved by all. Despite being small, he was clever and often managed to outsmart the other animals.

One day, the fox thought to herself, 'This time, I will surely catch the rabbit.' She hatched a plan and laid a trap along the path that the rabbit used every day.

As the rabbit was hopping along his usual path, he noticed the trap. He immediately realized that this was one of the fox's tricks. The rabbit, however, was not one to be easily fooled. He quickly thought of a plan to outwit the fox.

The rabbit started shouting loudly, 'Oh, what delicious food is lying here!' Hearing this, the fox who was hiding nearby got curious and came out of her hiding.

The fox asked, 'Did you say there's food lying here?' The rabbit, with a mischievous grin on his face, replied, 'Yes, look, near that trap.' The fox, without thinking, ran towards the trap.

In her haste, the fox didn't notice that she was running straight into her own trap. With a loud snap, the trap closed around the fox, trapping her.

The rabbit hopped over to the trapped fox, and with a chuckle said, 'Looks like your plan backfired, didn't it?' The fox, now regretting her hurried actions, hung her head in shame.

The rabbit, having outsmarted the fox yet again, hopped away happily, leaving the fox to free herself from her own trap. The rabbit's intelligence had saved him once again.

The fox, having learned her lesson, decided to think twice before laying traps for the intelligent rabbit. She realized that size and strength didn't always determine the winner. Sometimes, it was the quick wit and sharp mind that prevailed.
