Bhasuraka, the cruel lion, ruled the dense forest. His relentless killing of the animals for his food created a sense of fear among them.

The animals, worried about their existence, decided to hold a meeting with the lion. They sought to reach a friendly settlement to end their problem.

The representative of the animals expressed their concerns to the lion. He proposed a solution: to send one animal daily to the lion to save the rest.

The lion agreed to the proposal but warned them to be punctual, else he would kill all the animals.

From then on, an animal was sent daily to the lion. This routine brought a sense of relief among the animals, despite the daily sacrifice.

One day, it was the turn of a rabbit to go to the lion's den. The rabbit, however, had a plan to save his life and the lives of the others.

The rabbit arrived late at the lion's den, making the lion furious. Seeing a small rabbit as his meal, the lion swore to kill all the animals.

The rabbit, gathering courage, explained to the lion that he was not to be blamed for being late.

The rabbit told the lion that six rabbits were sent, but five were killed by another lion claiming to be the king of the forest.

The lion was intrigued by the rabbit's story and asked him to lead the way to this other lion.

The rabbit led the lion to a deep well and told him the other lion was inside. The lion, driven by anger, jumped into the well and drowned.

With this, the rabbit saved all the animals in the forest. His wisdom and courage were celebrated by all, proving that brains can outsmart brawn.
