Once upon a time, in a vibrant farm filled with various birds, lived a smart rooster. This rooster was known for his sharp wit and quick thinking. He was the leader of the flock and was respected by all the birds in the farm.

On the outskirts of the farm, there lived a cunning fox. Known for his slyness, he had been preying on the innocent birds from the farm. He was crafty and no bird could escape his clutches.

One day, the fox decided to prey on the rooster, thinking that he was just another bird. However, he was unaware of the rooster's intelligence. The rooster, on the other hand, had heard about the fox's intentions.

The rooster quickly came up with a clever plan. He decided to set up an elaborate trap for the fox. He spent the entire day gathering materials and setting up the trap.

The next day, the fox arrived at the farm, his eyes set on the rooster. He moved stealthily, but the rooster was ready for him. He watched as the fox walked right into his trap.

The fox fell into a pit that the rooster had cleverly concealed with leaves and branches. The fox tried to climb out, but the walls of the pit were too steep for him to escape.

Seeing the fox trapped, the rooster couldn't help but chuckle. He had finally outsmarted the cunning fox. The other birds on the farm cheered for the rooster, proud of their leader.

The farmer, hearing the noise, came to see what had happened. He was surprised to see the fox in the pit. He thanked the rooster for saving the farm from the cunning fox.

The farmer then took the fox far away from the farm and released him. The fox, humiliated and defeated, ran away, vowing never to return to the farm again.

The farm was once again a safe place for the birds. The rooster, with his quick thinking and bravery, had saved the day. He continued to lead the flock with pride, his cleverness admired by all.

And so, the tale of the smart rooster and the cunning fox became a legend on the farm. The birds would often chirp this story to their young ones, teaching them the importance of intelligence and bravery.
