In a forest full of trees, there was one tree that stood out. A tall tree with lush green leaves that always had a story to tell.

A tiny bird, with feathers as colorful as a rainbow, lived on this tree. The bird loved to sing and the tree loved to tell stories.

The bird's nest was the perfect place for the tree to teach the bird. The tree began with the CCV decodable, teaching the bird about words.

The tree explained, 'CCV words are words that start with two consonants and end with a vowel. Like 'fly', 'sky', and 'dry'. Do you understand?'

As the night fell, the bird practiced the CCV words. 'Fly', 'sky', 'dry', the bird repeated, feeling proud of its new knowledge.

The tree was pleased with the bird's progress. 'Well done! We'll learn more CCV words tomorrow,' the tree promised, swaying gently.

The next day, the tree taught the bird more CCV words. 'Try', 'cry', 'sly', the tree said and the bird repeated.

'Remember, practice is key,' the tree reminded the bird. The bird nodded and continued to repeat the words, proud of its learning.

As the day ended, the bird had mastered the CCV words. 'Fly', 'sky', 'dry', 'try', 'cry', 'sly', it sang happily.

The tree was happy with the bird's progress. 'You've done well, little bird. You've learned all the CCV words I know,' the tree praised.

The bird, content with its learning, thanked the tree. 'Thank you, tree, for teaching me. I'll remember these words always,' the bird chirped.

'You're welcome, little bird. I'm glad I could help. Remember to use these words when you sing your songs,' the tree replied, swaying gently.
