It was a bright Easter morning when 16-year-old Jack and his 8-year-old sister, Lucy, set out on their annual Easter egg hunt. Their parents had hidden eggs all around their spacious backyard for them to find.

"Let's split up," Jack suggested, "You take the garden, I'll search around the shed." Lucy nodded eagerly, clutching her Easter basket.

For a while, things went smoothly. They found eggs hidden in the flowerbeds, under the garden chairs, and even in the mailbox.

However, as the morning sun climbed higher, they noticed some eggs were in places they couldn't reach or squeeze into.

"What do we do now?" Jack asked, scratching his head. Lucy thought for a moment before grinning mischievously.

"I have an idea," Lucy said, pulling out a small bottle from her pocket. "It's a youth potion I bought from the magic shop."

Jack was skeptical, but curiosity got the better of him. "Alright, let's give it a shot." He said finally.

Lucy took a sip of the potion, and in the blink of an eye, she had turned into a toddler. Her clothes shrunk with her, fitting her new size perfectly.

Jack stared in astonishment. "That's amazing!" he exclaimed. "Now you can get the eggs from those tiny spaces!"

Toddler Lucy giggled, waddled towards a narrow hole in the tree trunk, and reached in to grab an egg.

With each egg she collected, Jack's skepticism vanished. This potion was truly magical!

After a while, the effects of the potion started to wear off and Lucy returned to her original size.

"That was fun!" Lucy laughed. "But now we're out of potion and there are still more eggs to collect."

Jack looked at the empty potion bottle, then at the remaining hidden eggs. An idea sparked in his mind. "Wait here, Lucy." he said.

Jack returned with the garden hose. "We can use this to flush the eggs out!" he suggested. Lucy giggled, excited to try.

Sure enough, it worked. The water pressure pushed the eggs out of their hiding spots and into the open.

By the time they'd collected all the eggs, they were soaking wet and laughing uncontrollably.

Their parents found them in the backyard, wet and muddy but holding a basket full of eggs. "What happened to you two?" they asked, trying not to laugh.

"We had an Easter egg adventure!" Lucy explained. "We used a youth potion and a hose to find all the eggs!"

Their parents looked at them in disbelief. "A youth potion? Really?" they laughed. Jack and Lucy just shrugged and laughed along.

The rest of the day was spent drying off, eating Easter treats, and sharing stories about their adventure.

That night, as Jack tucked Lucy into bed, she whispered, "Next year, let's have another adventure. Maybe we could find a dragon egg!"

Jack laughed, "We'll see, Lucy. We'll see." As he left her room, he couldn't help but smile at the thought of their next Easter egg adventure.
