Once upon a time in a dense green forest, there lived a mighty elephant. He was very arrogant about his size and strength, and often troubled the smaller animals.

One day, the elephant went to the river to quench his thirst. There, he saw a line of ants carrying food. He sprayed water on them and broke their line, causing them much distress.

The Ant Queen thought, 'If we don't teach the elephant a lesson, he will keep troubling us.' So, she made a plan with the other ants.

The next day, when the elephant was sleeping, an ant crawled into his trunk and bit him. The elephant woke up screaming in pain and started running around.

The elephant tried to shake the ant off, but it wouldn't come out. The elephant was very troubled and finally collapsed.

Then the ant said, 'You were proud of your size and strength, but look, I have defeated you. Now you understand that small creatures are not weak.'

The elephant realized his mistake and apologized to the ants. He promised never to trouble them again.

The ants forgave the elephant. From that day onwards, the elephant became a protector of the ants and all the small animals in the forest.

The elephant learned that every creature, big or small, has its own strengths and should be respected. He understood that arrogance is not a sign of strength.

The ants, on the other hand, were happy that they could teach the elephant a lesson. They were proud that they could defend themselves despite being small.

This incident brought a change in the forest. The big animals started respecting the smaller ones, and there was peace and harmony.

And so, the forest became a better place for all its inhabitants. The story of the elephant and the ants became a lesson for all, teaching the importance of respect and humility.
