Once upon a time, in a forest, there lived four close friends: a mouse, a deer, a crow, and a tortoise. They were inseparable and would always look out for each other. One day, they came across a field of corn.

Deciding to make this field their home, the friends lived happily, enjoying the abundance of food and the safety it provided. However, as time passed, they began to worry about their future.

The wise tortoise suggested a plan. They should each build a home in a different part of the field. This way, if a hunter were to come, they wouldn't all be in danger at once.

The friends agreed and began building their homes. Each one put in their best effort, working diligently to create a safe and secure dwelling. After some time, their homes were complete, and they felt proud.

However, their happiness was short-lived. One day, a group of hunters arrived in the forest, armed with bows and arrows. The hunters set traps all around the field, hoping to catch some animals.
