Long ago, Sun and Moon were the best of friends, and they never left the sky. Their bright light and warmth filled the sky all day and all night.

The animals on the ground, however, were not as happy. The constant light and heat were causing them a lot of discomforts.

Among these animals were Elephant, Owl, and Baby Turtle. They were struggling the most, and they decided to call out to Sun and Moon for help.

Sun and Moon heard their pleas and agreed to help. They knew they couldn't leave the sky, but they could share it.

So, they decided to take turns. Sun would shine during the day, and Moon would shine during the night.

But they needed someone to tell them when to switch. They asked the animals, but none were willing. They were too tired or too busy.

Except for Dullfly, who was resting in the shade. Dullfly agreed to tell Sun and Moon when to switch.

Sun and Moon were grateful for Dullfly's help. They thanked him and promised to follow his signals.

The next day, when the heat was too much, Dullfly signalled to Sun. Sun, respecting the signal, started to slowly set.

As Sun set, Moon started to rise. The sky was filled with a soft, gentle light. The animals felt a sense of relief.

This was the first night. The animals slept peacefully under the gentle glow of the Moon. They finally had a respite from the constant light and heat.

The next morning, when the world was still dark, Dullfly signalled to Moon. Moon started to set, and Sun started to rise.

This was the first day. The animals woke up to the warm light of the Sun. They felt energized and ready for the day.

From that day on, this became the routine. Sun and Moon took turns in the sky, and Dullfly told them when to switch.

The animals were happy. They had time to rest and time to play. They thanked Sun, Moon, and Dullfly for their help.

Sun and Moon were also happy. They were still in the sky, but now they were helping the animals. They felt a sense of purpose.

Dullfly, though he was small and dull, felt proud. He had a big responsibility, and he was doing it well.

Sun and Moon decided to call the time when they switched as dawn and dusk. These became the most beautiful times of the day.

Dawn was when Sun rose and Moon set. It was a time of new beginnings. It symbolized hope and optimism.

Dusk was when Moon rose and Sun set. It was a time of rest and peace. It symbolized calm and tranquility.

And that's how things are till this day. Sun and Moon still take turns in the sky, and Dullfly still tells them when to switch.

The animals still live happily. They still have time to rest and time to play. And they still thank Sun, Moon, and Dullfly for their help.

And dawn and dusk still remain the most beautiful times of the day. They still symbolize hope, optimism, calm, and tranquility.

And that's the story of how the Sun and the Moon became friends, and how they changed the world forever.

And even though many years have passed, the friendship of Sun and Moon remains the same. They still shine in the sky, bringing light and warmth to all the creatures.
