They lived a simple life, tending to their small farm and living off the fruits of their labor. However, they were blessed with a peculiar golden chicken that laid a golden egg every day.

The golden egg was sold every day, giving Jack and Jill enough money to meet their needs. Life was simple, but it was enough. They were grateful for the golden chicken's unique gift and took good care of her.
