    Leo, a kind-hearted boy, lived in a peaceful village. He spent most of his time playing by the river, making friends with every creature he met.

    One day, he found an old turtle struggling to climb up the river bank. Seeing the poor creature, Leo didn't hesitate to lend a hand.

    Leo gently picked up the turtle and carried it to the river's edge. The turtle looked up at Leo, gratitude shining in its eyes.

    "Thank you, kind boy," the turtle said, surprising Leo. "As a token of my gratitude, I will grant you one wish."

    Leo thought for a moment. He remembered his friend, Mia, who always wore torn shoes because her family couldn't afford new ones.

    Leo wished for a new pair of shoes for Mia. He thanked the turtle and left for his home, hoping that his wish would come true.

    The next day, Mia found a beautiful pair of shoes by her door. She was overjoyed and couldn't stop smiling, wondering who had left them there.

    When she learned it was Leo’s wish, she ran to him and thanked him with a big hug. Leo felt a wave of happiness wash over him.
