Once upon a time, there was a boy named John. He was known as the laziest boy in the entire town. He wouldn't even change his clothes for days. His favorite pastime was lounging around, doing absolutely nothing.

Behind John's house, there was a huge apple tree. It was the season of apples, and the tree was filled with ripe, juicy apples, ready to be picked. John, being a big fan of apples, was tempted.

Yet, the thought of making an effort to climb the tree and pick the apples was too much for John. So, he came up with a plan. He decided to lay under the tree, waiting for the apples to fall.

John lay under the tree all day, staring at the apples. His stomach was growling with hunger, but he was adamant about his plan. He was convinced that the apples would eventually fall.

The sun started to set, and the day turned into night. The apples remained on the tree, and John was starving. Yet, he was too lazy to get up and pick the apples.

The next morning, John's stomach was growling louder than ever. He looked up at the tree, hoping to see an apple fall. But the apples remained as they were, hanging high above his reach.

His hunger was unbearable now. He finally realized that his plan was not going to work. The apples were not just going to fall into his lap. He needed to take action.

Gathering all his strength, John stood up and started climbing the tree. It was a struggle, but the thought of juicy apples kept him going. He reached the top and picked a few apples.

John descended from the tree, holding the apples. He took a bite from one, and it was the juiciest apple he'd ever tasted. His hunger was finally satisfied.

That day, John learned a valuable lesson. He realized that if he wanted something, he had to work for it. Laziness wouldn't get him anywhere. It was a lesson he'd never forget.

From that day on, John changed. He was no longer the laziest boy in town. He became active and started taking responsibility. And whenever he saw an apple tree, he remembered his lesson.

And so, the story of the lazy boy and the unreachable apples became a tale of change. A story about how a lazy boy learned the importance of taking action and striving for what he wanted.
