Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Anna who loved playing in the woods and there was a secret door in the woods.

Anna looked at the door with surprise wondering what was behind this door

The little girl, being kind-hearted, offered the mouse a piece of Swiss cheese from her snack plate.

The mouse sniffed the cheese, but didn't eat it. It seemed like the mouse didn't like Swiss cheese.

The little girl looked at the mouse and asked, 'Don't you like the cheese? It's Swiss cheese, very yummy!'

The mouse squeaked softly, it looked like it was trying to say something. The little girl listened closely.

To the little girl's surprise, she could understand the mouse! It was saying it doesn't like squishy cheese.

The girl giggled and said, 'Oh, I see. You don't like squishy cheese. Well, let me see what else I have.'

The little girl went to her snack cupboard and found some cheddar cheese. It was not squishy, it was hard and crumbly.

She brought the cheddar cheese to the mouse and said, 'Here, this is not squishy. I hope you like it.'

The mouse sniffed the cheddar cheese, then took a tiny bite. It seemed to like it and began to eat happily.

The little girl clapped her hands and laughed. 'I'm glad you like it,' she said. 'We are friends now.'

The mouse finished the cheese and looked up at the girl with grateful eyes. The girl gently petted it, feeling happy.

From that day on, the mouse came to visit the little girl every day. She always had some non-squishy cheese ready for it.

The little girl and the mouse became the best of friends. They played together, shared snacks, and had lots of fun.

The little girl learned that everyone has different likes and dislikes. Just like how the mouse didn't like squishy cheese.

She also learned that understanding and kindness could form the most unexpected friendships. Like the one she had with the mouse.

The little girl knew she would always remember this special friend and the lessons she learned from their friendship.

As the day ended, the mouse scurried away to its home, but not before sharing a final piece of non-squishy cheese.

The little girl waved goodbye, knowing they would meet again the next day. Her heart was full of joy.

The room became quiet again. Only the tiny cheese plate was left, a symbol of the special friendship that had formed.

And so, the little girl and the mouse continued to share many more days of fun, laughter, and non-squishy cheese.
