Little Jack, the smallest jack-o-lantern in the pumpkin patch, sat alone. While he watched his friends play in the distance, he longed to join them.

Big Burt and the other larger jack-o-lanterns were playing a game of hide and seek. Little Jack wished he could participate but feared he would be overlooked because of his size.

As night fell, the games continued. Little Jack watched from afar, his glow flickering with sadness. Big Burt noticed and decided to do something.

"Little Jack, why don't you join us?" Big Burt called out, his voice echoing through the patch. Little Jack's glow brightened with surprise and joy.

Little Jack, beaming, joined his friends in the game. He found the best hiding spots and made everyone laugh with his clever tricks.

Big Burt, glad to see Little Jack's happiness, made sure he was always included. The other jack-o-lanterns loved Little Jack's enthusiasm and welcomed him warmly.

As the night gave way to dawn, the jack-o-lanterns settled down, tired but happy. Little Jack, nestled between his friends, felt a sense of belonging.

Big Burt, looking at Little Jack, felt a sense of pride. "It's not the size that matters, but the glow within," he thought, smiling at his little friend.

The next day, Little Jack was no longer alone. He was part of the games, the laughter, and the warmth. His glow was brighter than ever.

Big Burt, happy for Little Jack, made a promise to ensure every jack-o-lantern, big or small, felt included. Their pumpkin patch was a place for all.

Little Jack, now full of confidence, welcomed every new jack-o-lantern with open arms, sharing his story and the lesson he learned from Big Burt.

And so, the pumpkin patch was a place of joy, laughter, and friendship. A place where every jack-o-lantern, no matter its size, had a special glow.
