In the heart of a snow-capped mountain, there stood a grand castle. Its tall towers and sturdy walls were home to a very unique resident - a purple dragon. This dragon was unlike any other, not just because of its unusual color, but because it was incredibly lonely.

The dragon spent its days roaming the castle halls, longing for a companion. It would gaze out of the castle windows, watching the snowflakes fall and dream of having a friend to share the beauty with.

One day, a beautiful princess stumbled upon the castle during her winter adventure. She was taken aback by the sight of the purple dragon, but instead of fear, she felt a strange sense of companionship.

The princess approached the dragon gently, offering it a friendly smile. The dragon, surprised at first, soon warmed up to the princess's kindness. They quickly became the best of friends.

Every day, they would play together in the snow, building gigantic snow castles and having fun snowball fights. The dragon's laughter echoed through the mountains, a sound of pure joy that it hadn't known before.

The princess taught the dragon how to make snow angels and the dragon in return, would fly the princess to the highest peaks to show her the breathtaking view. Their bond grew stronger with each passing day.

One day, after a long day of playing, the princess sat down in the snow. Her face was serious as she told the dragon that she had to go back to her kingdom. The dragon felt a pang of sadness.

The princess promised the dragon that she would return. She hugged the dragon tightly, whispering words of comfort. Although saddened, the dragon understood and bid his friend farewell.

The dragon watched as the princess disappeared into the distance. It felt the loneliness creeping in once again, but this time, it was different. The dragon now had memories of joy and laughter to keep it company.

The princess did return, as promised. And so, they continued their playful adventures in the snow, their bond unbroken by distance or time. The lonely castle wasn’t so lonely anymore, it was filled with joy, laughter, and a friendship that would last forever.
