    Tom and his friends decided to explore the forest near their neighborhood. With their backpacks filled with snacks and water, they were ready for an adventure.

    Lily, the youngest of the group, was excited and scared at the same time. She clung onto Tom's hand tightly as they ventured deeper into the forest.

    John, the oldest and the bravest of them all, led the way. They stopped by the stream to rest and have snacks. The forest was beautiful and full of surprises.

    They played by the stream, chased butterflies, and even found a hidden cave. But, as the sun started to set, they realized they were lost.

    They tried to find their way back but ended up going deeper into the forest. Fear started to creep in as darkness fell.

    While trying to climb a tree to see their way, Tom slipped and twisted his ankle. He was in pain, and the others were worried.

    John bandaged Tom's ankle with his shirt. Lily held Tom's hand tightly, reassuring him. They decided to stay put till morning, hoping someone would find them.

    They huddled together for warmth, comforting each other. In their hearts, they knew they had to be brave and stick together to make it through the night.

    As dawn broke, they saw a trail nearby. They remembered seeing it while entering the forest. They decided to follow it, hoping it would lead them out.

    John helped Tom walk, while Lily led the way. They were tired and hungry but determined to get out of the forest.

    After what seemed like an eternity, they saw the edge of the forest. They could see their neighborhood in the distance. Their hearts filled with joy.

    They returned home safe but a little wiser. They had learned a valuable lesson about the importance of sticking together and never venturing too far without informing someone.
