In the heart of the forest lived a clever monkey. He spent his days swinging from tree to tree and feasting on the plentiful fruits.

One day, a crocodile crawled out from the river and invited the monkey to his home. The monkey, unaware of the crocodile's intentions, happily accepted the offer.

The crocodile, intending to trap the monkey, asked him to jump on his back for a ride to his home. The monkey, excited about the adventure, hopped on without a second thought.

Halfway across the river, the crocodile revealed his evil plan. He intended to offer the monkey's heart to his wife, believing it to be the tastiest in the world.

The monkey, alarmed but composed, quickly thought of a plan. He told the crocodile that he had left his heart on the tree and would need to fetch it.

The crocodile, eager to get the monkey's heart, agreed to take him back to the shore. The monkey, upon reaching the shore, quickly scampered up a tree.

The monkey, from the safety of the tree, revealed to the crocodile that he had been fooled. He told the crocodile that hearts aren't left behind, they are always within us.

The crocodile, realizing his folly, felt ashamed and swam away. The monkey, relieved, decided to be more careful in choosing his friends.

The monkey learned a valuable lesson that day. He realized that not everyone who smiles at you is your friend.

From that day forward, the monkey remained vigilant, careful not to trust strangers easily. He continued to enjoy his life in the forest, always mindful of the lesson he learned.

The news of the monkey's clever trick spread across the forest. All the animals admired his quick thinking and his ability to outwit the crocodile.

The monkey's tale served as a reminder to all. It taught them the importance of quick thinking, the value of true friendship, and the dangers of trusting strangers blindly.
