The pony is black

As the pony pondered, the old bull came by. 'Jump right in, the river's not that deep.' he advised. The pony felt unsure. The bull was strong and tall, he wouldn't feel the depth as the pony would.

Just as the pony was about to heed the bull's advice, a squirrel scurried by. 'Build a raft and float across. It's safer,' she suggested. The pony was now further conflicted. The squirrel, being small, couldn't perceive the depth as he could.

Faced with contrasting advice, the pony was unsure of how to proceed. He thought about his mother's words, 'When in doubt, trust your instincts.' He decided to test the river's depth himself.

The pony carefully approached the river. Using a long stick, he tested the depth at different points. The water was deeper at some places, shallower at others. It was a risky task, but he was determined.

After a while, the pony found a path where the river was shallow enough for him to cross. He felt relieved. His mother's advice had guided him to make the right decision.

With renewed confidence, the pony began his journey across the river. He moved slowly, ensuring each step was on solid ground. The current was strong, but he was stronger.

Eventually, the pony reached the other side. He was relieved and proud of his achievement. He had listened to his instincts and made it across the river safely.

As the pony trotted into town, the townsfolk greeted him warmly. He delivered the grain to the baker, who thanked him for his efforts.

The pony felt proud of his achievement. He had faced a challenge, considered different advice, and made a decision based on his instincts. It was a valuable lesson.

With the mission accomplished, the pony set off on his journey back. He crossed the river with ease, knowing the path well now.

As he trotted back home, the pony felt a sense of accomplishment. He had learned to trust his instincts and make decisions, a lesson he would carry with him always.
