One bright summer day on the island of Sodor, a shiny silver engine named Spencer arrived with the Duke and Duchess. They planned to build a new summer house on the island.

Meanwhile, Thomas, the cheeky blue tank engine, had been tasked with delivering goods to the mountains. However, he ended up lost in the hilly terrains.

As Thomas chugged through the rocky cliffs, he uncovered an unexpected surprise – an old, dusty, and abandoned engine. This engine was Hiro, from the far-off lands of Japan.

Besides Hiro, Thomas also discovered the old forgotten town of Great Waterton, overgrown with ivy and time. He couldn't believe his eyes, the once bustling town now lay silent and forgotten.

Thomas quickly chugged back to Sodor and shared his discovery. The news of the old abandoned engine and town had the whole island buzzing in excitement.

The engines were all eager to help Hiro. However, Hiro was in a terrible state, full of rust and barely able to puff. He faced the fate of the smelter’s yard if not repaired soon.

Hiro told Thomas about his fear of being discovered by Spencer. He was worried that Spencer would send him to the smelter's yard without thinking twice.

Thomas, eager to help, promised Hiro that he would not let that happen. He planned to gather his friends to help save Hiro and restore Great Waterton.

Word quickly spread among Thomas’ friends about Hiro and his predicament. The news reached Percy, the green engine, who was more than willing to offer his help.

Percy rushed to the mountains to meet Hiro. After seeing Hiro's condition, he was shocked but determined to help restore the once magnificent engine.

Under the lead of Thomas and Percy, the engines took turns to bring parts and coal to Hiro. They also started cleaning up the old town of Great Waterton.

The work was hard, and the engines worked tirelessly. They all knew they had to hurry before Spencer found out about Hiro and Great Waterton.

One day, Spencer saw Percy with an extra load of engine parts. He became suspicious and decided to follow him to uncover what was going on.

Percy led Spencer straight to Hiro, who was slowly puffing back to life. Spencer was astounded by the engine's size and elegance, even in his dilapidated state.

Spencer approached Hiro with curiosity and was moved by his plight. To everyone's surprise, Spencer decided to help Hiro instead of sending him to the smelter's yard.

The Duke and Duchess were also deeply touched by Hiro's story. They decided to help in the restoration efforts with resources and manpower.

After weeks of hard work, Hiro was finally back to his full strength. His black paint shone brightly once more, and he puffed proudly up and down the railway lines.

The old town of Great Waterton also regained its charm. The buildings were repaired, the station was bustling, and it was alive once more, just like Hiro.

The Duke and Duchess were so impressed with the restored town that they decided to build their summer house there. They thanked the engines for their hard work and dedication.

Hiro thanked Thomas and all his friends for saving him from the smelter’s yard. He was grateful for their kindness and friendship, which gave him a new life.

Thomas was happy to see Hiro back on track. He realized the true meaning of friendship. He knew that when friends work together, even the toughest problems can be solved.

Spencer, too, learned a lesson. He understood the importance of helping others. From then on, he regarded Hiro as a friend and not as an old, out-of-date engine.

The engines celebrated their victory with a grand party at the heart of Great Waterton. Everyone was happy and content as they watched Hiro proudly steaming down the track.

The Duke and Duchess warmly invited Hiro to stay in Great Waterton. Hiro agreed and found his new home, living happily with his new friends on the island of Sodor.

So, Hiro found a new life on the island of Sodor. Thanks to Thomas and his friends, Hiro was safe from Spencer’s original plan. Their friendship had saved the day!
