Sonic, the 6-year-old hedgehog, was busy scheming in his room. April Fools was around the corner, and he had a brilliant idea to prank his big brother, Tails.

Tails, five years older than Sonic, had a knack for inventions. He had once used one to turn Sonic into a one-year-old. Sonic was determined to use this to his advantage.

Sonic snuck into Tails' lab, searching for the invention. It was a tricky task, given Tails' organized chaos, but Sonic was determined.

After rummaging for a while, Sonic found the device - a small, shiny contraption that was unmistakably Tails' invention. He grinned in triumph.

Sonic aimed the device at his unsuspecting brother, who was engrossed in his latest invention. Pressing the button, a light emitted from it, engulfing Tails.

Once the light faded, Tails was no longer his 13-year-old self. Instead, there was a small, diaper-clad fox, looking up at Sonic with wide, confused eyes.

Sonic couldn't help but laugh at the sight. He picked up baby Tails and started to prepare for the day, excited about his newfound responsibility.

Throughout the day, Sonic took care of Tails, feeding him baby food, giving him bottles of milk, and changing his diapers when needed.

Tails, although being a baby, still had his adult mind. He was embarrassed but couldn't do anything about his babyish instincts.

Sonic found it amusing when Tails started crying. He quickly put a pacifier in his mouth, which surprisingly calmed Tails down.

As the day went on, Sonic realized that being the older brother wasn't as fun as he'd thought. It was exhausting and a lot of responsibility.

Tails, on the other hand, was starting to enjoy being pampered. It was a refreshing break from his usual duties and responsibilities.

When it was time for Tails' nap, Sonic found himself exhausted. He decided to take a nap as well, thinking he deserved it.

Both brothers woke up feeling refreshed. Tails looked up at Sonic with a newfound respect, while Sonic looked at Tails with relief.

Sonic decided to end the prank early. He picked up the device, aimed it at Tails, and pressed the button. In a moment, Tails was back to his 13-year-old self.

Tails looked at Sonic with a smirk. "So, you couldn't handle being the older brother?" he teased. Sonic just rolled his eyes and shrugged.

"It's not as easy as it looks," Sonic admitted. Tails just laughed and ruffled Sonic's hair, appreciating the effort his little brother had put into the prank.

That night, as they both laid in their beds, Sonic decided that he was happy being the younger brother. And Tails was glad to have his little brother back.

They both had learned something valuable from the prank. Sonic learned about responsibility, while Tails learned to appreciate being pampered once in a while.

The next morning, everything was back to normal. Sonic was back to his mischievous self, and Tails was back to his inventions. But they had a new understanding for each other.

As they both went on with their day, they couldn't help but remember the prank. They both laughed at the memories, promising to remember this April Fools forever.

Sonic and Tails had a newfound respect for each other. They promised to be there for each other, no matter what age they were. And that was no prank.

They understood that being brothers meant more than just pranks and fights. It was about understanding, responsibility, and love - something they both had learned from the prank.

From then on, Sonic and Tails continued to be the best of brothers. They might prank each other now and then, but they always remembered the lesson they had learned.

And so, Sonic and Tails went on with their lives, older and wiser. They had their pranks, their fights, and their moments, but they always had each other. And that was all that mattered.
