    One sunny afternoon, MJ was playing in her room with her favorite toys when she heard a knock on the door. It was a very familiar, friendly knock. "Who could it be?" she wondered, as her big eyes sparkled with anticipation.

    MJ giggled softly from her hiding spot. She could see Scary-monster searching for her. It was fun to see him look everywhere but where she was hiding.

    Seeing MJ laugh, Scary-monster started laughing too. He realized how fun it was to be scared. "Your turn to seek," he said, still giggling.

    This time, it was MJ's turn to close her eyes and count while Scary-monster found a place to hide. She counted slowly, taking her time to ensure Scary-monster had enough time to hide.

    When she opened her eyes, she looked around the room. She had a feeling that Scary-monster would be hiding somewhere unexpected.

    MJ started her search. She looked under the sofa, behind the bookshelf, and even inside the kitchen cabinets. But there was no sign of Scary-monster.

    Then, she heard a soft giggle. She followed the sound and found Scary-monster hiding behind the curtains. "Gotcha!" she exclaimed, giggling.

    They both fell down laughing. It was a fun afternoon full of laughter and games. They decided to play hide and seek more often.

    When it was time for Scary-monster to leave, MJ gave him a big hug. "I had so much fun today!" she told him. "Me too!" Scary-monster replied, his eyes twinkling behind his sunglasses.

    As Scary-monster walked out the door, MJ waved him goodbye. She couldn't wait for their next playdate. She knew it was going to be just as fun, if not more.

    That night, as MJ lay in her bed, she thought about the fun day she had had with Scary-monster. She couldn't help but smile as she drifted off to sleep, dreaming of their next adventure.

    MJ's days were always full of fun and laughter, thanks to Scary-monster. Their friendship was unique, but it was the most special thing in the world for MJ. And for Scary-monster, there was nothing better than seeing MJ smile.

    And so, their friendship grew stronger with each passing day. Playing hide and seek, sharing laughter, and creating beautiful memories, MJ and Scary-monster were indeed the best of friends.
