On a bright sunny day, Sammy the Sheep was frolicking around the meadow, when he spotted a peculiar object lying by the brook.

Curiosity piqued, Sammy approached the object. It was a shiny red apple. He had never seen anything like it before and wondered if he should eat it.

Just then, Oscar the Owl flew by and noticed Sammy looking quite confused. He landed on a nearby branch and asked Sammy about his dilemma.

"I found this apple, but I don't know if I should eat it," Sammy explained. "Well, it's always good to be thankful for what we receive," Oscar replied wisely.

"But how do I do that?" Sammy asked, puzzled. "You can say a small prayer to thank God for the gifts He provides," explained Oscar.

Sammy nodded, understanding the wisdom in Oscar's words. He prayed, thanked God for the apple, and then bit into it. It was the sweetest apple he had ever tasted.

Later, Sammy met his friend Lucy the Lamb and told her about the apple and the prayer. Lucy was amazed and wanted to try it herself.

The next day, Lucy found a bunch of juicy berries. She remembered Sammy's story and prayed before eating them. To her surprise, the berries tasted even better!

Word spread in the meadow about Sammy and Lucy's experiences. Soon, all the animals started praying before their meals.

One day, Oscar flew over the meadow and noticed all the animals praying. He felt happy that his advice had made such a positive impact.

That night, Sammy went to sleep with a content heart. He had learned an important lesson in faith and gratitude and shared it with his friends.

The meadow was more peaceful than ever. The animals, irrespective of their meals, had now found a new way to connect with God, all thanks to Sammy and Oscar.
