Once upon a time, there was an old mother pig who had three little pigs. She loved them dearly but didn't have enough food to feed them. So, when they were old enough, she sent them out into the world to seek their fortunes.

The first little pig was very lazy. He didn't want to work at all and built his house out of straw. He was pleased with his work, as it had taken very little effort.

The second little pig was somewhat lazy too. He worked a bit harder than his brother and built his house out of sticks. He, too, was satisfied with his effort and decided to rest.

After finishing their houses, the first and second little pigs began to sing and dance. They played together for the rest of the day, completely oblivious to the dangers that lay ahead.

The third little pig was different. He was hardworking and diligent. He decided to build his house out of bricks. It was hard work, but he was determined to make a sturdy house.

The third little pig worked tirelessly for days, constructing a solid brick house. When he was done, he looked upon his work with a sense of satisfaction and pride. His house was the strongest.

Meanwhile, a sly and hungry wolf had been watching the pigs from a distance. He saw the straw and stick houses and thought they would be easy to destroy. He licked his lips in anticipation.

The wolf approached the first pig's straw house. He called out to the pig, asking him to let him in. But the little pig, scared and trembling, refused to open the door.

With a huff and a puff, the wolf blew down the straw house. The first little pig ran as fast as his little legs could carry him to his brother's stick house.

The wolf followed the first little pig to the second pig's stick house. Again, he tried to trick them into letting him in. But the pigs, terrified, refused to open the door.

The wolf blew down the stick house with ease. The two little pigs ran as fast as they could to their brother's brick house. They knew it was their only hope for safety.

The third little pig let his brothers in just as the wolf arrived. He tried his old trick, but the pigs, safe inside the brick house, wouldn't open the door.

The wolf huffed and puffed, trying to blow down the brick house, but he couldn't. He tried again and again, but the house stood firm. The wolf was furious.

The wolf tried to climb down the chimney to get into the house. But the third little pig, smart and quick, lit a fire under the chimney. The wolf, feeling the heat, scrambled back up.

The wolf, defeated and scared, ran away as fast as he could. The three little pigs cheered. They were safe in the brick house, thanks to the hard work of the third little pig.

The first two pigs thanked their brother for saving them. They realized that being lazy and not working hard had almost cost them their lives. They promised to change their ways.

The third little pig, happy that his brothers had learned their lesson, forgave them. They promised to help each other and work together from then on.

The pigs lived happily in the brick house. They worked hard every day, growing their own food and taking care of each other. They knew the value of hard work and unity.

The wolf never bothered them again. He learned his lesson too. He knew better than to mess with the three little pigs, who had grown strong and clever.

And so, the three little pigs lived happily and safely. They had learned their lesson well: Hard work pays off, and together, they could face any challenge that came their way.
