In this tranquil environment, lived a tortoise who had an unending love for food. He would wander around all day, savouring the delicious fruits and vegetation.

One day, the birds of the sky received an invitation to a great feast in the clouds. The tortoise, however, was not invited, and he felt left out.

Clever as he was, the tortoise thought of a plan. He approached the birds and expressed his desire to join them in the feast.

The birds, feeling sorry for the tortoise, each gave him a feather. Soon, the tortoise had enough feathers to fly with them to the feast.

Before the feast, the tortoise asked the birds to give themselves new names for the occasion. He cleverly named himself ‘All of You.’

When the food was served, the tortoise, being mischievous, asked, 'For whom is this feast prepared?'

The host replied, ‘For all of you.’ The tortoise smiled and said, 'Well, I am ‘All of You,’ and this food is for me!' He ate nearly everything, leaving very little for the birds.

Angry and disappointed, the birds took back their feathers, leaving the tortoise stranded in the sky with no means to return to earth.

The tortoise, realizing his mistake, pleaded for help, but it was too late. The birds had flown away, leaving him alone in the sky.

He landed with a loud thud, cracking his shell. The tortoise groaned in pain, regretting his greed and deceit.

That’s why tortoises have cracked, hard shells today. It serves as a reminder of the tortoise’s greed and the consequences he had to face.
